HISTORY
Summit Logistics was incorporated in 1982 by Paul Quist and Warren Smith to de-mobilize construction camps on the Alaskan Pipeline. Early on, projects were highly varied including Construction Management, General Contracting and Commercial Property Management.
The Exxon Valdez oil spill in 1989 and subsequent clean-up efforts generated a significant demand for temporary housing and office space. Leveraging experience gained through its many general contracting activities, Summit Logistics entered the mobile office building market.
Over the past 14 years Summit Logistics has developed and refined a complete line of modular buildings which accommodate Alaska’s demanding conditions. Primary industries served include oil/gas, mining, construction, non-profits, military, and education.
